The other day I read about Lucy Hale's 15-step skincare routine and nearly spit out my drink. She might be an actual angel with the world's best hair, but no way I'm buying 15 separate items and taking the time to apply them every day.
To be honest, my 5:45 alarm in the morning is probably the worst sound in the world. I have, on more than one occasion in the past 7 days, lay in bed trying to think of a good excuse to stay there. Usually I come up with nothing. I envy morning people, they're bright eyed and awake when I roll in with my coffee in one hand and a giant do-not-disturb sign across my face.
Having a great planner is like going to the gym with new gear from Athleta. It's not actually making you go or work any harder, but doesn't it feel that way? The reality is planners don't magically make you more productive, they work as much as you make them work.
Welcome to a place filled with life, love, adventure and mistakes. I wish I was less of a cliche, but when the doctors stiched up that little hole in my heart and built me a new valve, I unabashedly realized there’s only one way to live life. Whole-hearted. So now I compulsively tell people how much I love them, and want to compulsively tell you all about the things I love (or don't love so much) too. I hope you join me adoring in all that beautiful messiness and send me some of what you adore along the way.
